creates unique and quality crafted eyewear. Each style is inspired by

BROOKLYN SPECTACLES is about bold designs, quality craftsmanship and a

The BROOKLYN SPECTACLES Wood Collection is not made
with real timber. Instead, we use an acetate plastic surfaced with a
wood-like finish. As such, you get the unique look of genuine wood, all
while enjoying the comfort of the versatile synthetic material.
The BROOKLYN SPECTACLES Ultem Collection is made with the innovative
material Ultem, a.k.a. polyetherimide (PEI) resin. The Ultem Collection
delivers a broad range of desirable performance
properties for
eyeglass frames. The tailored, aerospace-grade Ultem material is
exceptionally flexible and lightweight and is resistant to chemicals,
heat and ultraviolet (UV) light. Ultem frames are up to 50% lighter than
metal frames. They offer elasticity coupled with resistance to
deformation, allowing the frame to be bent easily yet returned to its
original shape.
We believe the Ultem Collection helps meet
eyeglasses wearers’ demands for fresh, new eyewear styles with
exceptional long-term performance and feather-light comfort. |
